Please add a few more names to your holiday card list...

Looking for a simple project for your community or school group?
Or maybe you are searching for a way to thank service members this holiday season...

The American Red Cross is encouraging Americans to send a “touch of home” to U.S. service members through Holiday Mail for Heroes. Americans can send messages of cheer and appreciation between now and Friday, December 9. The Red Cross and program sponsor Pitney Bowes will take care of all costs to send the cards. The specifics on sending cards can be found on the Red Cross website.

A simple thank you to a service member can go a long way, especially during the holidays when many of our country’s military are away from their friends and loved ones. Consider letting these veterans know that there are still people who care about where they are and what they have sacrificed for this country.
